Luxury Barbecue builds all our outdoor cabinets and kitchens with aluminum structures. Our competition uses galvanized metal or wood to build there structures.
Why is this important? Aluminum does not rust or rot like wood and metal. This means that your outdoor kitchen will last a lifetime and won’t crack the stucco or stain the floor as time goes by.
Why don’t others use aluminum? Aluminum is a very difficult metal to weld and is more expensive than wood or galvanized metal.
How much more will it cost? Typically the cost of using aluminum is $300.00 to $500.00 per job.
Why not use block? Block is a good alternative although it will take away about half of your storage space under the countertops and needs to be built on site. Our system is made in our shop and usually installed in one day depending on the size of the kitchen.
What else should I know? Venting, venting, venting all structures need to have adequate venting, gas can build up and cause an explosion if there is not the right amount of venting in the cabinets or structure.
Ventaltion Hoods Smoke from your gill is much heavier than the smoke from your indoor kitchen and requires a good ventilation system if using in a covered area. A typical 36 inch outdoor vent hood costs around $3000.00 with a blower unit of 12 to 1500 CFM
